Welcome to ‘Latest from the studio’
Based in the Kennel Yard at Burghley House Stamford. The former joiners shop is an ideal space to create sculpture. I start with ideas on paper, work up some small maquettes then build larger plaster sculpture. The final stages working in bronze, stone or steel
My work explores organic elements and geometric structures. Experimenting with the fundamental’s of symmetry and proportion and how they interact with each other. Testing the principles positive and negative mass (space and solid) is part of the process.
